ABCs of FAITH - How Faith Comes #3

THE ABCs of FAITH 18
HOW FAITH COMES

So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
Romans 10: 17

Today we are going to continue to lay out our step by step plan from the Word to help you in obtaining faith.

THE LACK OF FAITH IS REALLY NOT THE PROBLEM
Many speak of their lack of faith but lack of faith is really not the problem. Sense knowledge and human reasoning would have us complicate it, but the real reason for a lack of faith is often a lack of knowledge. Because of our human pride, instead of acknowledging our lack of knowledge we tend to say; the Word of faith does not work; or I just can't seem to get a hold of this faith stuff. It is really not that complex. It is really rather simple; Faith accompanies knowledge. If you are going to be strong in faith you must be strong in the knowledge of the Word. Romans 10: 17 tells us how we get faith.

So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
Romans 10: 17

You must feed upon the Word to get faith. If you don't seem to be getting faith, just keep feeding upon the Word until you get it. But you must feed upon the Word of faith. So many believers hear so many contrary teachings that they get confused. God is not the Author of confusion, but of peace, so anytime confusion enters your life you know that the enemy is at work. Stick with the Word that produces faith in you and cut everything else off for a season and faith will come. Lack of faith is a due to a lack of knowledge or understanding of the Word of faith. Unbelief is generally a result of a lack of understanding. There are 6 areas of understanding you must have to obtain New Testament, Bible faith.
#1 understanding the new birth. (We studied this yesterday. This is more critical than most people think because it is the birthplace of faith)

#2 understanding our place in Christ.

To obtain faith, go through the New Testament and find the in him, in Whom, in Christ scriptures. Find the 133/34 such expressions and write them down and begin to confess them about yourself.
Go through the entire New Testament, come on Bernard are you crazy? No! You must labor to enter into the rest of faith. The labor is laboring in the Word. The Bible says "study or be diligent to show yourselves approved unto God, a workman... (not a lazy man).

You must apply your self and give time to the Word to obtain faith. Hardly anyone is doing that today! We would rather go to a nice Church where the Pastor (or ushers) gives out the sermon outline before the service. This leaves very little room for the anointing to teach us. Come on now...don't quit me because I am telling you the truth. Well...if you want to grow in faith you must study the Word of faith (not just any teaching. Some teachers will fill you with fear and unbelief).

Here is a sample of an in Him scripture:

Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us with all (every) spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. Ephesians 1:3

So you would say: "I am blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ! I am blessed with everything I need in Him."

HERE IS WISDOM - GET THIS PLEASE!
All blessings are spiritual in nature because they are and start out in the spiritual realm (as promises of God) until you apply faith to bring them into manifestation in the material realm. For example money is first of all a spiritual blessing. Your faith in the Word will cause it (money) to manifest and become a material blessing. This is why faith is so important. Faith and confession draws the blessing from the spiritual realm to the natural real world where you need it. Many fail to receive because they quit when the enemy tells them that it is not working!!!
Read them (these in Him scriptures) and begin to confess as a lifestyle; this is who I am and what, I have...
It will defeat worry and fear in your life.
You will feel better mentally, physically and spiritually!
So many have never really walked in the light of what they have...

Author's note:
These lessons are written "daily" like as the fresh manna fell daily in Israel. No left-overs for God's people! What an honor to be able to share with God's people. PLEASE, excuse me if there is an occasional typo. The fresh nature of the newsletter does not allow time for me to have them proof-read. The time is short!
